Come enjoy the natural beauty of Jamaica’s countryside
Jamaica is full of fun facts and is rich in culture, a culture that descends from the many different nationalities that have called it home over the years!
Truly visit Jamaica. Tour a rural community where you can see women handwashing at the river or enjoy a coconut stop. Pay a visit to school children and observe the lifestyle of the Jamaican people.
Oftentimes these areas boast their own attractions; whether it’s the oldest and largest pig in town, nature trails or the food shack that uses coals to prepare fresh, delicious country-style fare.
On this tour, we will explore the local community and enjoy a meet and greet with its citizens, sampling fresh fruits and learning about the many different herbs that are indigenous to the island. This tour also will make a stop at the marketplace and a basic school. Feel free to take supplies for the children.
This tour includes all transportation to and from your hotel.
Stops for shopping, beach and local lunch are also included.
- Bug spray
- Credit cards and enough cash to purchase food and drink as rural areas will not have credit or debit card access and you may want to buy your self a cold Red Stripe beer from one of the many roadside shops.
